About the Stone

Yellow Jasper is opaque microcrystalline quartz coloured mustard to gold by iron oxides — goethite and limonite — and found worldwide. At Mohs 6.5–7 with no cleavage it is tough, which suits a travel stone.

Care

Durable and water-safe: warm soapy water and a soft cloth, and it can take daily wear. Prolonged strong sun can fade some yellow jaspers over time. Cleanse it with moonlight or a smudge.
