About the Stone

Clear or milky quartz threaded with needles of black tourmaline. The tourmaline grew first and the quartz formed around it — the dark was there first, and the light grew around it, which is why "balances opposing energies" is close to literal.

Wearing & Care

Rings take more knocks than any other piece of jewelry: put it on last, after lotion and perfume, and take it off for hand-washing, housework, gardening, the gym, swimming and sleep.
