About the Stone

Citrine and Amethyst are the same stone: iron inclusions in Amethyst turn it yellow or orange when heated. Formed slowly in the earth, natural Citrine is a smoky golden color; helped along by man, it is more yellow or orange — and most Citrine on the market is helped into being by man.

Wearing & Care

Put earrings on last, after perfume, lotion and hairspray, and take them off for showers, swimming and sleep. Keep the pair together in a pouch so the stones don't rub against other jewelry. Sterling silver tarnishes slowly in air; a silver polishing cloth keeps it bright. Cleanse them with sage or moonlight.
