About the Stone

Shiva Lingams are jasper-and-agate cobbles from the Narmada River in Madhya Pradesh, shaped into their egg form by the river and a final hand polish — the shaping is given, not carved, which is why each one is unique. The lingam is a sacred form of Shiva in Hinduism; handle the tradition with respect. Not the Eye of Shiva, which is a shell.
