About the Stone

Most Rainbow Moonstone is white labradorite — a plagioclase feldspar — rather than moonstone in the strict sense, which is why it flashes blue instead of glowing white. Moonstone, Peach Moonstone and Labradorite are separate stones with their own teachings.

Wearing & Care

Rings take more knocks than any other piece of jewelry: put it on last, after lotion and perfume, and take it off for hand-washing, housework, gardening, the gym, swimming and sleep. Sterling silver tarnishes slowly in air; a silver polishing cloth keeps it bright. Water-safe for brief contact; rinse and dry rather than soaking. Feldspar chips if dropped. US sizes.
