About This Blend

A blend of natural incense resins mixed by hand in small batches, with the rich, warm smoke that resin gives and stick incense cannot. Burn it before meditation, to cleanse a room, or simply to bring the scent of an old temple into a new one.

How to Burn Resin

Set a charcoal disc in a heat-safe burner with a layer of sand or ash under it. Hold a flame to the edge of the disc until it sparks across (10–20 seconds), then let it grey over — three or four minutes. Drop a pinch of resin on top, not a spoonful: a little makes a lot of smoke, and you can always add more. The disc burns for about an hour; let it cool completely before you touch it. Open a window a crack.
