About the Stone

Most Rainbow Moonstone is white labradorite — a plagioclase feldspar — rather than moonstone in the strict sense, which is why it flashes blue instead of glowing white. Moonstone, Peach Moonstone and Labradorite are separate stones with their own teachings.

Wearing & Care

Put earrings on last, after perfume, lotion and hairspray, and take them off for showers, swimming and sleep. Keep the pair together in a pouch so the stones don't rub against other jewelry. Sterling silver tarnishes slowly in air; a silver polishing cloth keeps it bright. Water-safe for brief contact; rinse and dry rather than soaking. Feldspar chips if dropped.
