How to Use It

Backflow cones have a hollow core: set one on a backflow burner with the hole over the vent, light the tip, let it flame for ten seconds, then blow it out. Once the ember reaches the core, the smoke pours down through the burner like water. Keep it out of drafts, on a heat-safe surface, and never leave it unattended.
