About the Stone

Caribbean Calcite is genuinely two minerals in one stone: blue calcite and aragonite, which are the same calcium-carbonate chemistry grown in two different crystal systems. Despite the name it comes from Pakistan, and it reached the trade only recently. Quiet the noise first, then speak truly — the calm comes before the clarity.

Care

Both minerals are soft and sensitive to water and acids: never soak it, never use salt, and keep it away from vinegar and cleaners. Dust with a soft dry cloth. Cleanse it dry — sound, sage or moonlight.
