About the Stone

Blue Lace Agate is banded blue chalcedony — as Vero's Book puts it, Blue Lace Agate and Blue Chalcedony are the same stone; one has the bands (the lace) and one does not. The blue agate we stock is Blue Lace Agate. Most of it comes from Namibia.

Wearing & Care

Rings take more knocks than any other piece of jewelry: put it on last, after lotion and perfume, and take it off for hand-washing, housework, gardening, the gym, swimming and sleep. Durable: warm water and a soft cloth, and it can take daily wear. Keep it out of prolonged strong sun, which can pale the blue. Cleanse it with moonlight or a smudge. US sizes. Not sure of yours?
