About the Stone

Onyx is a banded chalcedony, the same mineral family as Agate; the solid black material is the classic form, and much commercial black onyx is colour-enhanced — a standard, stable practice. Chiefly from Brazil, India and Uruguay.

Wearing & Care

Rings take more knocks than any other piece of jewelry: put it on last, after lotion and perfume, and take it off for hand-washing, housework, gardening, the gym, swimming and sleep. Durable: warm water and a soft cloth, and it can take daily wear. Cleanse it with moonlight or a smudge. US sizes. Not sure of yours?
