About the Stone

Ametrine is a single quartz crystal zoned purple and gold: iron in the amethyst half has been heated by the earth into citrine while the other half has not. Nearly all natural ametrine comes from the Anahí mine in eastern Bolivia, which is why it is genuinely rare.

Care

Durable quartz: warm water and a soft cloth. Keep it out of prolonged strong sun, which fades the purple. Cleanse it with moonlight.
