Rhodochrosite Plain Rounds measure approximately 7mm up to 9mm in diameter, have a vitreous luster with good brilliance, show exceptional polish, are well matched for tone, exhibit internal characteristics in a translucent body, show the sought after linear calcite appearance called & bacon strip effect, and the gems are a slightly brownish medium dark Rose' Pink hue.
